1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others help a business understand how its site is used or measure its advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, are covered by this policy too.
2. Cookies we always use
These are strictly necessary, so they don't need your consent.
- sd_consent (SensiDocs, 12 months): remembers your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every page. It is shared between sensidocs.com and app.sensidocs.com.
- Signed-in session (SensiDocs web app, until you sign out): kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. It is not used for tracking.
- Payments: when you pay, you are taken to Stripe, which sets its own cookies on its pages to process the payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.
3. Optional cookies, only with your permission
These are set only after you turn on their category in the cookie banner.
The Google tag is on every page in Google's consent mode. Until you accept, it sets no cookies and uses no identifier for you. Google receives only basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed, which it uses to estimate visits in aggregate.
Analytics
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): Counts visits and shows which pages people find useful, so we can improve the site. Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (up to 13 months). Their privacy policy.
Marketing
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): Measures how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and lets us show ads to people who visited. Cookies: _fbp (up to 3 months). Their privacy policy.
Videos. Our short videos play in a YouTube or Instagram player on the page. Nothing from either service loads until you press play. When you do, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy. YouTube videos use its privacy-enhanced player.
4. Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you turn a category off, we remove the cookies it set that we can reach. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a new tool. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without optional cookies.
5. Canada
Under Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA) and Quebec's privacy law, we ask for your consent before using optional cookies, and they are off by default. You can withdraw your consent at any time as described above.
6. United States
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for targeted advertising under California law and similar state laws. You can opt out with “Your privacy choices” at the bottom of every page. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out, and marketing cookies stay off for that browser.
